Does PrivImage upload my images?
No. Processing is performed locally in your browser. The application has no upload or image-processing endpoint.
Can PrivImage detect AI-generated images?
It can identify recognizable generator metadata or signatures when present. It is not a general AI image classifier.
Does removing metadata make an AI image undetectable?
No. Metadata removal does not guarantee that an image cannot be identified, classified, or labeled as AI-generated.
Can PrivImage remove GPS data?
Yes when GPS data is stored in supported EXIF structures. Results are verified by rescanning the cleaned output.
Does image quality change?
No pixel recompression is performed. The original encoded image payload and dimensions are preserved.
What formats are supported?
JPEG/JPG, PNG, and WebP.
What are the limits?
100 MB per file, 500 MB per batch, and 10 files per batch.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes. The interface is responsive and can be installed as a PWA where the browser supports it. Large-file performance depends on the device.
